Decolorizing Flocculant

Decolorizing Flocculant

Properties
Decolorizing flocculant is a new type of cationic polymer guanidine polymer, a colorless transparent viscous liquid or a white powder. It can be used to encase various fuels' hydrophilic groups, to reduce its hydration, and has both flocculation and sedimentation effects. It is effective at removing reactive, acidic, and similar fuel intermediates, as well as reducing COD.  It can reduce coloration by over 95%, and reduce COD by 40% - 70%. It is mainly used in textile, printing and dyeing, ink, paper and pharmaceutical wastewater treatment chemicals.

Usage
(1) The aqueous solution of decolorizing flocculant should be diluted before using, and the dosage is based on water quality conditions. Before treating the waste water, you should first conduct a beaker test to get the best treatment effect to know the suitable dosage and pH value conditions. Generally, diluted with water 10 - 40 times, the best pH value of waste water ranges from 7 to 10.
(2) Decolorizing flocculants  should be added into the wastewater to be treated with measuring pump, stirred quickly for a few minutes to fully mix up with the wastewater to generate fine floc particles - alum flower, and then stirred slowly for a few minutes to make small floc particles into larger floc cohesion group.
(3) Then we use settling or air-flotation equipment to separate solid and liquid substance. The slurry residue can be filtered by centrifuge or plate and frame filter press to further separate from clear solution. In addition, when the color and COD of wastewater is high, use with PFS, aluminium sulphate, calcium chloride, polyaluminium chloride, organic macromolecular polyacrylamide to achieve the desired treatment effect and reduce the treating cost. The specific dosing sequence and dosage ratio should be based on the actual technology of stirring test and wastewater treatment.

Packaging & Storage
The liquid products are packed in polyethylene plastic barrel and the solid products are packed in braided bag lined with plastic bag.
Decolorizing flocculant is somewhat corrosive. It should be sealed and stored in a ventilated and dry place, preventing exposure to rain, heat or sun. If damp, it will affect the coagulation performance. The liquid products are easy to self-polymerization at high temperature with a shelf life of 6 months, and the solid product’s shelf life is 12 months.
